The cup definitely has a learning curve! I've used it for two periods so far, and it's always difficult for me to know when it opens up inside, so I do have some leakage occasionally. However when it's totally sealed, it catches EVERYTHING!! No leaks, no cramps. and so easy to clean. The underwear is INCREDIBLE. no leaks AT ALL, so absorbent and dry so youre not sitting in your own blood. great to use with the cup in case of leaks!!
These underwear are good for back up and light days. It’s nice having underwear specifically for this time of the month and not having all of my other underwear get stained. If this is what you are looking for then buy then them! I would not recommend them for heavier days because you will want to change them same as you have to with a pad.
I was intimidated at first, but after a few days I will never use paper period products again. The waste free aspect is awesome. The cup itself has a learning curve but is great for sleeping, during the day, and traveling. Paired with the period underwear I felt clean and leak free. I can’t believe it took me this long to try a menstrual cup!!
All day comfort with absolutely no weird smells or feelings.
I tried both before introducing them to my daughter and I’m thoroughly pleased. The cup is wonderful when placed comfortably. This takes some practice. A con would be the insertion. Removal and cleaning are easy. I tried the underwear with nothing else on a heavy day for 24 hours(the recommended time is 8). No leakage! I am happy and confident to purchase these for my tween.
