How to Guide
INSERTION
Wash your hands with mild soap and water and we recommend you sterilize your cup for 5 minutes before initial use.. Fold your June Cup using one of two recommended folds. Relax your vaginal muscles and insert cup slowly into your vaginal canal. Push cup up toward your cervix but remember your cup will sit lower than a tampon. Release fold and allow cup to pop open. Run your index finger along the base of the cup. JUNE's three halos will be your guide to ensure the seal has formed.
REMOVAL
Wash your hands with mild soap and water. Use JUNE's security stem and three halos to locate the base of the cup. Pinch the base of the cup along the halos to break the seal. Slowly pull the cup down and remove from your vagina. Empty the contents into the toilet. Rinse cup with mild soap & water before re-inserting.
AFTERCARE
During your period, be sure to rinse your cup with mild soap and water before re-inserting. Avoid anti-bacterial soap as this can strip your vagina of healthy bacteria and flora. After your cycle is complete, sterilize your cup by placing in boiling water for 5 minutes.
*Do not use vinegar, tea tree oil, scented soap, castile or peppermint soap, oil based soap, rubbing alcohol, anti bacterial soap, hand sanitizer, dish soap, hydrogen peroxide or harsh chemicals to clean your cup as this can damage the silicone and cause irritation and discomfort.
